We hope you LOVE your kit—but if not, no worries! We accept returns on unopened products within 30 days. Once a kit is opened, we can’t take it back (imagine trying to count thousands of tiny beads 😅). Just a heads-up: a $5 restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

What beads does this work with?

BeadLock strings are designed to fit perfectly with the beads in your BeadLock kits—but they also work great with your own beads at home!

Pony Bead Strings work with all standard 6 mm pony beads (with a 4 mm hole) and any other bead with a hole that size or larger.

Polymer Clay Bead Strings work with standard clay beads that have a 2 mm hole or larger.

Whether it’s from our kit or your craft box—BeadLock keeps the fun on the string, not the floor.

Can I use my own beads or specialty beads?

Totally! You can bring your own beads to the BeadLock party. Just one heads-up—we can’t promise every bead out there will fit. As a rule of thumb: if the bead’s hole is the same size (or bigger) than a pony bead hole (for Pony Strings) or a clay bead hole (for Clay Strings), you’re good to go.

Are the Pony and Polymer Clay strings different?

Yes! It all comes down to size! Pony beads have bigger holes, so Pony Bead Strings are thicker with a chunkier tip to match. Clay beads are smaller, so Clay Bead Strings are slimmer with a finer tip that slides right through those tiny holes. Big beads, big string. Small beads, small string. Easy peasy!
